Dinning at Petra Restaurant in Santorini was an unforgettable experience. The views are stunning! The Petra Restaurant is part of the Canaves Oia Group and is located in one of their other venues on the island. The restaurant has the most magical feel and is located in a charming courtyard in the heart of the village, nested on a cliff edge overlooking the sea. The location could not be more perfect. The ambiance is warm, welcoming and relaxed. There were beautiful lanterns and candles lighting up the space, making it feel more intimate.
The views from our table were simply amazing, offering breath-taking sights of the island and the beautiful Aegean Sea. It was the most amazing setting.
The service at Petra is exceptional, as with all the Canaves properties, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is perfect. From a warm welcome to the attentive service throughout the meal, it is clear that the staff take pride in delivering the best possible experience for their guests.
The menu at Petra is a celebration of local and seasonal ingredients, with a focus on Greek cuisine with a modern twist. Everything from the chocolate bread with butter, the Amuse Bouche to the Black Pork with Cauliflower, Green Apple , Acid Forest Honey and the array of mouth-watering deserts were delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavour, showcasing the chefs creativity and skill.
Overall, my dinning experience at Petra was one of the highlights of my trip to Santorini. It was out of this world! The food, wine, and service were all exceptional, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable intimate dining experience in Oia.
