June has been a real treat so far for us. We started off the month in Dubai where we had the most amazing time. We spent ten days in Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa (More on this over on my Dubai page) It was a dream to be back there again! We visited the Atlantis water park which I would highly recommend, the rides where incredible. We also chartered a yacht for half a day which was the highlight of the trip (more on both of these on on my experiences page).

Since coming home it is finally summer here in the UK and we have had pure sunshine! When ever the sun comes out so does the BBQ and this years new edition is an egg bbq which has been a big hit so far. We have been making the most amazing slow cooked meats accompanied with some delicious salads.

We visited Castle Coombe in the Cotswold this weekend. Its where war horse was filmed and is one of the prettiest places to go. The cottages are beautiful and full of character. We ate in a cute little pub called the Castle Inn which is very popular I'm glad we booked in advance as it was busy! There is a Manor House Hotel there which is part of the golf course it was stunning and set in a vast amount of grounds. We had a drink on the lawn followed by a game of giant chess.

BIKINI
HUNZAG Bikini is a must!! I had heard all the hype about this brand and since getting one I don't think I would wear anything else - I now have 6 of them!

SANDALS
I have Chloe sandals which I adore - they are perfect for a day out but can also be dressed up for dinner.

SUNCREAM
This is a must on the list. I used to wear a low factor but as getting older I've realised that you actually tan just as well from a factor 50 and you are protecting your skin much more.

A BOOK
I have started reading what I call more useful books instead of fiction as now I feel like I may as well be educating myself whilst sunbathing!
