HOW TO LOOK AND FEEL GOOD WHILST TRAVELLING
I wanted to share a few tips on how to look and feel good whilst travelling… no matter how early you are getting up for your flight. Also how not to over pack in your carry on bag! There is nothing worst than having to carry too much, whilst also trying to juggle your latest purchases from the airport.
First of all I think planning is always key. After preparing for your holiday you want to arrive at the airport feeling your best self and ready for your holiday. You need to prep and plan your airport outfit ahead of time so you aren’t rushing round last minute stressing about what you are going to wear at 3am the next morning! When travelling, comfort is of course always important. You need to be able to look put together whilst also feeling comfortable for the journey.
My current go to outfit is a pair of Reiss wide leg trousers, a white T shirt and a knitted jumper. I always get really cold on flights so a large scarf that I can wrap round me is a must. There is nothing worse than trying to sleep when you are feeling freezing.
IN MY CARRY ON
It doesn’t matter where I am travelling in the world I always pack the same way and ensure I have the essentials without over packing. There is nothing worse than being at the airport with your hands full carrying heavy bags around with you. I always pack a bag that can fit under my seat, so I can easily access any of my essentials like a book, eye mask headphones, small bag of makeup, lip salve, and contact lenses (never pack your contact lenses in your suitcase as if it goes missing it’s the one thing that’s hard to replace). My battery pack comes with me everywhere I go its one of the best things I have purchased for travelling and of course sunglasses. I feel like a lot of people over pack their carry on but realistically what are you actually going to need to the flight?
The finally thing to do in the airport is enjoy it! A lot of people find the airport stressful but its the start of your holiday, so after a bit of duty free shopping find a nice bar put your feet up and enjoy a pre flight drink to get your holiday started!
