Skiing in Norway and stepping into January 2025

Not many people I speak to think of Norway to be the place to ski but Norway has the most amazing ski resorts. For the last couple of years we have taken a trip to Hemsedal skiing to finish off the year and start the new year. Hemsedal is a three hour very snowy drive from Oslo airport in to the mountains. The drive up is so pretty, like something out of a movie. This year, as you can see over in my travel section, when looking for the best hotel in the area, we discovered the Fyri Resort which won the World Traveller Award in 2024. As soon as you walk through the doors we could see why... The hotel is Amazing!
