Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa describe themselves as ‘A Dubai beach hotel where royal treatment is a way of life’
It is an award-winning hotel with private beach, three swimming pools and a vast amount of grounds, making it the perfect place to stay. Staying in Le Royal Meriden is an absolute treat. It has a reputation of once you visit, you will always come back. Having stayed there many times before I am testament to that being true!

The hotel is a luxurious 5 start hotel located in a prime location. From the moment you drive up the grand entrance to when you exit your car, you are made to feel welcome with the staff efficiently taking your bags and ushering you over to your dedicated check in receptionist. The staff are exceptional, and nothing is ever too much trouble in Dubai. The whole entrance to the hotel is very grand and spacious with the lobby split into different seating areas. Once checked into your room, which is seamlessly done, you are given a tour.
The hotel having recently been refurbished has a very contemporary design. It feels very fresh and chic throughout.
I was most impressed with the 24-hour soundtrack which is played 'A New Wave' is a 24-hour playlist curated by LM100 members novuelle Vague exclusively for Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts.
Walking round the award-winning refurbished luxury hotel, talking in the décor and ambiance you can see why it is a firm favourite of many, including myself.

Upon arrival we were given a complimentary upgrade to a Royal Club room which is located in their own tower to the left of the building. The contemporary design of the hotel carries on through the rooms . It was nice and spacious with a sofa area and a spectacular view of the sea from our balcony. The beds are amazing with a very luxurious feel and the most comfortable pillows making it a dream to sleep in!
The hotel has three swimming pools, which is something I love as every day there is somewhere new to discover. There is so much space around the hotel with all the grassy well landscaped gardens too that you can have your own space but also be around people. There is also a private beach area dedicated to hotel guests which has an amazing beach bar/café… it’s the perfect place for an iced coffee or cocktail.
Of course on my trip I had to make a visit to the newly refurbished spa which was amazing. They have a vast amount of treatments from ….. and then a room full of plunge pools at different heats and in the middle was an amazing thermal pool with some magical lights above it making it the most relaxing experience.
The other thing I could not miss was the new Beauty Salon which was so pretty. The Lunatic Fringe, which hosts a whole range of beauty and hair treatments. Perfect for a nice blow dry after being out in the pool all day. They have really got it right with the vibe and the décor it is absolutely beautiful.

For restaurants in the hotel you are absolutely spoilt for choice. They have culinary choices from around the world. With thirteen restaurants and bars and another 16 culinary venues at their other hotel Grosvenor House, you couldn’t want for more. Every night is a different culinary experience from Buddha Bar, Zengos to Mexican in Maya leaving you wanting more and looking forward to your next meal. As I say we have stayed at Le Royal Meridien many times before and every time we visit there new experiences with the food.
With the newest restaurant edition being the new City Social in which is on the 43rd floor of the sister hotel the Grosvenor House. The views are breath-taking. They serve a modern European cuisine by celebrity chef Jason Atherton and have a whole selection of cocktails. To dine there is an unforgettable night where you dine high above the city of Dubai.
