Late Spring April to June and September to October are ideal for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. The peak summer months (July and August) can be quite busy and but has amazing weather.

- Oia is renowned for its stunning sunsets. We had the most perfect view of the sunset from our hotel terrace in Canaves Oia Epitome Oia itself can get extremely busy for the sunset and I would say we had the most perfect spot in the hotel where we could enjoy it fully.
2. *Explore Ancient Akrotiri:*
- Visit the ruins of this ancient Minoan city, which was preserved in volcanic ash. It offers a glimpse into the island's fascinating past.
3. *Hike from Fira to Oia:*
- This scenic hike takes about 2-3 hours and offers stunning views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. Highly recommended for the very special views and experience. I would recommend planning somewhere to stop on either end to have a nice cold drink.
4. *Relax on the Unique Beaches:*
- Visit the famous Black Beach (Kamari) and Red Beach for sunbathing and swimming. Each has its distinct charm.
5. *Wine Tasting:*
- Santorini is known for its unique wines, especially Assyrtiko. Visit local wineries for tours and tastings. What better way to spend an afternoon, taking in the views with a nice glass of wine in your hand.
